The Design: Space, Detail, Atmosphere module is a brief design module that is based on a competition format. It introduces a different approach to concept generation, links to theory, the attitudes towards materials and their application and asks to work on representation techniques to communicate your ideas and identity. It requires independent and critical thinking and to follow specific requirements for the submission.

The module starts with a story, talks about play and concludes with technical details, a model, an amazing poster, and a spectacular presentation!

The Story-Play event aims to highlight urban stories by inviting people to discover them through playing. The event will take place in public spaces around the city and the ideas competition aims to discover different interpretations of the Story-Play theme. Participants are tasked with designing a temporary structure, which will be inspired by a story of the city and invite adults to a moment of fun and amusement, a time of play that disrupts their daily routines. Participants need to reflect on the nature of play and how play can be applied in this context.
